BRISTOL BOOKWORMS BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP

The Bristol Bookworms will meet on November 16, 2004 at 6:30 p.m.  This month 
the club will be reading and discussing The World Below by Sue Miller.  The book is 
Miller's sixth and delves into the influence of the past on us now.

An Adult Book Discussion group was started in January 1999.   The Bristol Bookworms meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting 
room of the library.  The group is open to adults 18 years of age and older. The 
books for discussion will center around popular titles and members' favorites. 

Bristol Bookworms takes the months of  June, July and August off to allow for vacations and all the other activities that summer brings. They also do not meet in December due to the holidays. 

These are the titles of some of  the books discussed:

  • The Rainmaker by John Grisham

  • The Best-Kept Secret by Les Roberts

  • Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom

  • The Painted House by John Grisham

  • A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George

  • The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingslover

  • Heart of the Sea by Nora Roberts

  • Plainsong by Kent Haruf

  • Open House by Elizabeth Berg

  • The Red Tent by Anita Diamant

  •  Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells

Other adult services: Voter registration, Golden Buckeye Card registration, income tax assistance (limited to certain age and income) from February till April 15.  Forms for Ohio Energy Credit, Heating Assistance Program, financial aid forms, and tax forms are also available here.
