The Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN):  A state-wide project linking all Ohio public libraries to the Internet. Here are some of the contents: headline news, sports, weather, etc. - world, national, and Ohio libraries. NOTE: some databases are only accessible through an OPLIN connection at a public library. OH! Kids - entertaining and educational resources for web tots, kids and teens. There are also resources for parents, homeschoolers and teachers.

infoplease.com Good reference information from Information Please. Seach their almanac, dictionary, and encyclopedia. The site is also broken down into topics making it easy to search.

My Virtual Reference Desk - Searchable. Dictionaries, thesauri, maps, weather, encyclopedia, newspapers, etc. An award winning site loaded with a treasure trove of information.
